RAUTAHAT: An unidentified armed group torched four vehicles parked in the premises of Shree Ram Sugar Mills in Garuda Municipality of Rautahat on Thursday.

Brandishing sharp weapons, the group barged into the Sugar Mills premises and took two security guards under control and set the three four wheelers and a motorcycle on fire last night, according to the Area Police Office, Garuda.

Police said that a Bolero jeep (Na 2 Cha 6501), a Scorpio jeep (Ba 10 Cha 5038), a car (Ko 1 Cha 7196) and a Pulsar motorbike (Ba 29 Pa 5723) were destroyed in the arson.

Inspector Santu Jaiswar said police are looking into the incident.

An unidentified group had torched two vehicles in the premises of Sugar Mills last year also, according to police.
