Damak, June 25:

Altogether 300 female PLA personnel of the first divisional headquarters of the PLA have been interviewed under the second phase of PLA verification, a source at the first divisional headquarters said.

Among the female PLA combatants verified in the PLA’s first divisional headquarters, the Chulachuli main camp has the largest number of female PLA combatants. Of 100 female PLA personnel registered at the main camp, 18 are pregnant. Other 200 female PLA personnel were registered in sub-camps of the PLA’s first division.

The second phase of verification that started last Tuesday will conclude tomorrow, a source said, adding the PLA personnel of the Yangsila sub-camp of Morang were giving interviews till this evening. An UNMIN team has been taking the interviews of PLA personnel of the first division under the second phase of verification.

Interviews of those PLA personnel who were sick and on home leave will be taken tomorrow, the source said.
