MYAGDI: An eight-year-old girl student died falling off an under-construction school building at Piple-9, Myagdi district on Sunday evening.

The girl student has been identified as Yama Maya BK of Lulang-7 in the district, who was attending class for visually challenged persons at the Gyanodaya Secondary School.

According to Police Inspector Diwakar Ghimire of the District Police Office, the accident occurred when BK had fallen onto a road yesterday, seriously injuring herself.

The girl died while she was being rushed to the Beni Hospital, police said.

Her body has been kept at the District Hospital for postmortem.
