Vote counting for the House of Representatives (HoR) election has begun in Siraha district, with the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) taking an early lead in Constituency-4.

According to Election Officer Shiva Wagle, RSP candidate Tapeshwar Yadav secured 547 votes after 844 ballots were counted by 10:15 am. Janamat Party candidate Birendra Prasad Mahato received 88 votes, while CPN-UML candidate Dharmanath Prasad Sah obtained 65 votes.

Chief Election Officer for the district and Election Officer for Constituency-3, Dr Shriprakash Upreti, said vote counting in Siraha-2 and Siraha-3 began at 11:00 am.

Counting in Siraha-1 had already started at 10:00 am, according to Election Officer Phanindra Raj Bhattarai.
