MAHOTTARI: Vice President Parmananda Jha proceeded to Matihani, Mahottari for a pilgrimage on Sunday.

He offered prayers at the Laminarayan Temple early in the morning. He is scheduled to visit Jaleswor later today.

Jha was accorded a reception by priests and devotees in the temple premises.

Speaking to journalists after his prayers he said that the essence of all religions is love, goodwill and tolerance and as the basic norm of all religions is humanity he urged all the people to follow it.
