Weather will improve from evening, says MFD
KATHMANDU: Nepal received scanty rainfalls across the country on Monday with the change in weather due to the effect of westerly winds.
According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD), Dadeldhura witnessed highest amounts of rain i.e.25 mm, with maximum temperature of 13.8 °C and minimum temperature of 2.0 °C.
In Kathmandu valley, the MFD recorded three mm of rain with maximum temperature of 23.5 °C and minimum temperature of 9 °C.
Likewise, high mountainous and hilly areas have witnessed snowfalls as well, the division said. Jumla received about 22 mm of rain accompanied by snowfall, the MFD records.
Meteorologist Srijan Subedi informed that the weather is gradually improving. "Weather will improve from Monday evening in the central region and from Tuesday in the eastern region."
