GAIGHAT: A wild elephnat killed two people — Nara Bahadur Magar, 38, of Dikuwa-3 and Sita Gurung, 45, of Katari village development committee — in the Katari area of Udaypur district on Friday. The elephant also attacked another person, injuring him. He is undergoing treatment in a clinic in Katari. Wild elephants have killed six persons in the past one month in Udaypur district and damaged property worth one million rupees, the police said.
