Winter rain, snowfall likely: Forecasting Division

KATHMANDU: The Meteorological Forecasting Division has said that some parts of the hilly region in the country would receive partial to normal rainfall in the coming three days.

In a statement released today, the Division said that slight rainfall could occur in one or two parts of the hilly region and the mountainous region will see snowfall. On Saturday, the hilly region and Kathmandu valley remain cloudy with showers.

 Likewise, on Sunday, western and eastern hilly belt of the country could witness partial rainfall while rest of the regions would remain mostly clear. As per the latest update of the Division, the lowest temperature of Kathmandu valley was measured at 6.7 degree Celsius today.

Likewise, the temperature lowered below the minus in Jumla whereas Biratnagar was the warmest area with the highest temperature of 28 degree Celsius.
