JALESHWOR: A 50 year woman died after consuming poison in Tapanpur, Mahottari on Thursday night.

Police said that the deceased has been identified as Sakili Khatun, a resident of Mahadaiya, Tapanpur. She died on the way to a local health post at Kurth Bazaar after consuming pesticide.

According to the locals, Khatun was suffering from depression for a long time.
