NAWALPARASI: A woman died in a road accident at Kusunde of Nayabelhani-7 in Nawalparasi district along the East-West Highway on Friday night.

The deceased has been identified as Mithu Kumal (45) of Prasauni-9 of the district.

Police said Kumal died when an unidentified vehicle knocked her down at the place.

Her body has been kept at Chormara Health Post for postmortem.

Police have impounded two buses for further investigation in this connection
