POKHARA: A woman has been found dead ashore the Barahi Ghat of Fewa Lake in Pokhara on Sunday.

Police were informed after locals spotted the body at 7:00 am.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Khadga Bahadur Khatri at District Police Office, Kaski, the deceased has been identified as 35-year-old Sabita Pokharel of Putali Bazaar Municipality-7 in Syangja district.

Further investigation into the case is underway, police said.
