BHOJPUR: Police on Sunday arrested a woman in possession of 13 kg marijuana from Katahari-9 of Morang district.

The suspect has been identified as Rachana Lama (31) of Chintang-8, Dhankuta.

According to the Eastern Regional Police Office, Biratnagar, Lama was nabbed with a bag containing the contraband while she was heading towards Rangeli from Biratnagar on a scooter (Ko 16 Pa 9147).

Police said that she was apprehended during a security check at around 6 am today.

Further investigation into the incident is underway, said police.
