Woman dead in boat capsize incident
DAILEKH: A woman died in a boat capsize incident in Karnali River in Lyatibindrasaini VDC in Dailekh district on Saturday.
Police Inspector Puskar Bahadur Chand said that a woman was rescued alive while Rupa Shahi ( 45) of the VDC was found dead.
Boatman Tek Bahadur Budha of Bhairabsthan Kavre in Achham district was also rescued after the incident.
It is said that boat capsized near the river bank while parking it after crossing the Karnali River from Achham.
