KATHMANDU: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defence Bhim Rawal on Friday inaugurated a newly built women-friendly building at Birendra Peace Operation Training Centre of the Nepali Army in Panchkhal, Kavre.

The women-friendly building was built following an agreement between the Ministry of Defence and the Nepal Peace Trust Fund.

While addressing the inauguration ceremony, DPM Rawal said the Panchkhal-based NA’s training facility was among the best military academies in South Asia and appreciated NA soldiers’ role during the devastating April 25 earthquake and in peacekeeping operations.
