GAIGHAT: American Ambassador to Nepal Alaina B Teplitz on Tuesday said women were more productive than men.

The US ambassador said female farmers could increase agriculture productivity by 10 per cent if they were given ownership of land.

Teplitz, who came here to observe various projects run by USAID said women’s role could not be ignored for prosperity and progress of society. “When women earn more, they can invest more in their children and family,” she said.
