Birgunj, May 1:

Labour leaders of Parsa district took out a rally of labourers here today and warned of an agitation if the rights of labourers were not ensured in the new statute to be drafted by the newly-elected CA.

Speaking at a mass meeting at Ghantaghar chowk on the occasion of International Labour Day, Nepal Trade Union Congress leader Dilip Singh Rajbhandari urged the government to ensure the inclusion in the CA of labour representatives from the closed list. The gathering was addressed by Mazdoor Union Congress’ Parsa chapter joint president Chandra Narayan Singh Rijal, woman labour leader Usha Yadav and other labour leaders.
