YCL attacks RPP-N rally in Pokhara

POKHARA: Cadres of Young Communist League (YCL) this morning disrupted a programme organized by Rashtriya Prajatantra Party – Nepal in Pokhara. Police had to intervene after the disruption and in the clash six policemen, 10 RPP-N cadres and two YCL cadres were injured. The incident occurred after 50 lathi wielding YCL cadres attacked the RPP-N programme at Sidhartha Chowk at around 8.45 am. Police had to retaliate when the YCL cadres attacked them. After the incident, transport in Pokhara has come to a halt and commercial establishments of Chipledhunga and Mahendra Pul have shut down.
