Pokhara, January 6:

The 11th village development council meeting in Lamchaur VDC of Kaski district was suspended after a dispute between cadres of the pro-Maoist YCL and the CPN-UML.

The dispute started after cadres of the Young Communist League attacked UML former chairman of Lamchaur, Durga Bahadur KC, and UML cadre Om Bahadur Kunwar.

The Young Communist League cadres accused KC of embezzling money during his two-term tenure as VDC chairman.
