YCL warns of action against leaders

Ramechhap, October 4:

The Young Communist League has threatened to take action against four district-based leaders of different political parties. Issuing a press statement today, the Maoists’ sister organisation stated its intention.

Accusing them of indulging in anti-people activities, YCL Ramechhap district president Prem Bahadur Karki said stern action would be taken against former minister Kamal Chaulagain, former DDC chairman Dhruv Raj Lama, former district development vice-chairman Kedar Karki and Nepali Congress district working committee member Dik Bahadur Tamang.

The first three held their posts during the royal regime. The release added that action would be taken against the four wherever YCL cadres would find them. Karki added that the four were staying away from the district and appealed to the people to help the YCL catch hold of them and bring them to book.
