Yechuri has boosted eight-party unity: Dr Koirala
Kathmandu, April 27:
NC Central Working Committee (CWC) member Dr Shashank Koirala today said that the visit of Indian Left leader Sitaram Yechuri has brought about an “enhanced degree of cohesion among constituents of the eight-party alliance.”
“The visit was important from the standpoint of what Yechuri probably did here. We assume he has sorted out whatever differences had cropped up between the government and Left leaders,” Dr Koirala told The Himalayan Times. Dr Koirala said that Yechuri has gone back advising the Left parties to cooperate with whatever the government was doing and that elections can be held at an agreeable date.
