LAMJUNG: Police on Monday said they found body of a man in the Timang rivulet in Manang district.

The identity of the man, who appeared to be in his late 20s or early 30s, is yet to be ascertained.

Police said a team of Nepal Army from Kebalgunj Barrack in Manang recovered the body with a rope from the rivulet after a group of tourists saw the body.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Jagannath Gautam said the body might have gotten into the rivulet months ago as his face is difficult to identify.

Gautam said the body has been taken to the District Hospital for postmortem.
