KATHMANDU: Two youths, hailing from Kavre, today said they would set out on a global bicycle tour beginning October 29. Their ambitious world journey will start from the South Asian countries before cycling through the Gulf, Africa, Europe, North America and East Asia.

Rajendra Sapkota, 23, and Rupak Khadka, 24, dream of spreading the message of non-violence and environment protection amid extreme effects of globalisation and climate change. “We want the world to recognise Nepal as a peace-loving country. We would also like to pressurise the governments to take an urgent step to reduce greenhouse gas emission to make the world a better place to live in,” they said univocally.
