34 Tibetan refugees detained

SINDHUPALCHOWK: Police in Sindhupalchowk detained dozens of Tibetan refugees heading toward the Chinese border on Friday to protest. Police officials said that 34 persons were arrested out of which 8 were women. Officials added that their papers are being prepared and the detainees were being brought to Kathmandu. The group was arrested at around 8 am today and was coming from Kathmandu in a bus. Before being detained the protesters shouted slogans against Chinese government.
