In Sunny Deol’s film ‘The Man’, Shilpa Shetty plays a super rich celebrity.

Shilpa is set for a big comeback. Last seen in Anurag Basu’s Metro and a blink-and-you-will-miss appearance in Shah Rukh Khan’s Om Shanti Om , Shilpa is presently shooting Sunny Deol’s home production The Man .

The movie has Shilpa playing a sought-after celebrity and Sunny Deol playing her bodyguard. It does appear inspired from the Whitney Houston-Kevin Costner starrer ‘The Bodyguard’, but let’s leave that aside for the moment.

Let’s talk about the passion that Sunny is putting into this project. Sunny, who is co-directing the film with Neeraj Pathak, is leaving no stone unturned to make the film look glossy. Since Shilpa plays a celebrity, Sunny is getting top-of-the-line accessories for her character.

Shilpa uses the latest Vertu model cell phone and wears outfits by elite international fashion brands in ‘The Man’. Not just this, Sunny is planning to import the 2009 Rolls Royce Phantom Coupe car exclusively for Shilpa. She would be seen driving in this car in the movie.

Sunny and Shilpa have worked together in a number of films and share a very good chemistry.

Sunny is reviving his home banner Vijeta Films with ‘The Man’. Besides direction, he is ensuring that the film has high production values.

The film is currently being shot at Nariman Point in Mumbai.
