KATHMANDU: A fire broke out on Wednesday in the house of the late Jamim Shah, former chairman of Space Time Network Pvt Ltd and Channel Nepal Television, who was killed in a shootout in broad daylight on February 7.

Due to the blaze the kitchen has been destroyed. It is reported that the fire was brought under control before a fire engine reached the spot.

According to the police gas leakage from an LPG cylinder was the cause for the blaze.
