Model-turned-actress Mugdha Godse was recently approached for a role in a French production in which she was asked to go topless.

The shapely damsel, however, did not take the bait and turned down the offer despite the fact that it could have brought her international recognition.

Reports say the movie in question is Raas Leela being directed by Sharat Chandra for a French production house. The movie reportedly has French actress Emmanuelle Béart in leading role.

Earlier, Bollywood actress Divya Dutta was offered the role that required her to go topless, but she had refused the offer. And now Mugdha has done the same.

Mugdha, who has featured in a number of television commercials, says she is not comfortable in going topless in front of the camera. She is not averse to exposing in films, but she is willing to go as far as wearing bikinis or swimsuits. She is even game for kissing and smooching if and only if the script requires it.

Set to make her Bollywood debut in Madhur Bhandarkar ’s film Fashion , Mugdha says though she has been getting movie offers for a long time, she chose Bhandarkar’s ‘Fashion’ because her role in it (that of a model) is close to her personality and also because she has immense respect for the National Award winning director.
