KATHMANDU: The UCPN-Maoist Central Committee (CC) meeting is scheduled to be held on the issues of multiple post system and constitution amendment on Wednesday at 3 pm.

According to Narayan Sharma, politburo member of the UCPN-Maoist, the meeting would approve the amendment of constitution for collective leadership in multiple post systems. He added that the posts and names would be finalised after the amendment of the constitution.

Addressing the recommendations of the central and the politburo members the political document has been presented in the CC meeting conclusively.

Prior to the CC meeting the politburo meeting is scheduled for 12 pm to verify the constitution amendment proposal and secretariat meeting decisions. The CC meeting has been frequently put off due to the row over the allocation of the key party positions since the first week of July.
