NC puts off CWC meet after clash with Winter Session
KATHMANDU: The NC Central Working Committee (CWC) meeting, the first after the demise of the party president GP Koirala, slated for April 6 has been postponed for a day later, NC CWC member Narahari Acharya said.
The meeting had to be rescheduled to April 7 as the original date overlapped with the second meet of the Winter Session of the House, Acharya said.
The CWC meeting is being seen to hold significance at this juncture of time, i.e. in the aftermath of the demise of party president GP Koirala, as it is scheduled to take decisions on major issues including fixing a date for the party’s 12th general convention.
