KATHMANDU: Students of different unions are protesting in front of their campuses in various places of the capital. They are protesting against the Tribhuwan University’s decision to scrap the Proficiency Certificate Level from all its campuses. Heavy traffic obstruction has occured following the student protests. There are reports of scuffles in Amrit Science Campus, Lainchaur, injuring scores of students following the clashes.

Meanwhile, students disrupted the ongoing Masters’ first year and Bachelors’ third year exams at different centres—Shankar Dev Campus, Putalisadak, Thapathali Engineering Campus, Thapathali, Nepal Commerce Campus, Minbhawan and Padma Kanya Campus, Bagbazaar in the capital.
