KATHMANDU: The Winter Session of the Legislature-Parliament started at the Constituent Assembly Hall in Kathmandu Sunday afternoon.

CA chair, Subash Nembang, read out the letter sent by the presidential office at the beginning of the session.

Minister for Finance Surendra Pandey tabled the first financial amendment bill before the House meet, the convention of which had been deferred due to the delay in passing the budget for the running fiscal year.

Today’s meet also observed a two-minute silence in the memory of martyrs before being adjourned for Wednesday.
