Elections finally
The much awaited second phase of elections was held peacefully across the country. People’s power has been manifested once again through democratic practice. Now, according to the latest development one can easily surmise that the left alliance is all set to head the government and lead the nation towards a new direction.
Nevertheless, whichever party wins, the people’s main expectations are, a healthy society, corruption free state, smooth services for the public both in private and public offices, good roads and transportation facility, security, peace, end of impunity, development, employment etc.
Let us hope that the upcoming days will be more fruitful, and our leaders will be able to deliver their services to the people honestly and timely. Let us hope that long heard buzzword, New Nepal, emerges in a remarkable way so that every citizen of the country feels proud of being a Nepali.
Let’s stop being arrogant that my/our party did so and so. The public observe and evaluate what the parties actually did. It is not time to give lip service but rather to deliver service in the concrete form. It is not the time to show people with words but with works. Let’s stop complaining about other parties, rather, focus on the challenges ahead with our best possible efforts. Let’s make better plans with good vision that helps the majority of common people in the long run.
Let’s hope, our water resources will be well utilized to generate more electricity. Let’s expect our tourism sectors develop in the proper way, so that many people could get job opportunities within this industry. The youths who have been forced to take foreign jobs could return to work in the home country, living together with their family members. May people get good education, easy health care, fresh air, with harmonious relation among all castes and creeds that makes a better country.
Let’s not just blame the government. In fact, each and every citizen is responsible for prosperity, peace, security, clean environment etc. Let’s do our duty properly, let’s not waste time in worthless gossiping, let’s best utilize time, let’s not criticize others, let’s keep our surroundings healthy, physically, socially and spiritually.
Let us hope, in the days to come the country moves in right direction in every sector and may our slogan ‘A New Nepal’ come true.
