For our own superman
During tough times a Super Hero is needed. Gotham’s got Batman, and, of course, New York is home to the Spiderman. Kathmandu, being a relatively interesting city in its own right, lacks a vigilante justice provider. The need is for a super individual, who has the guts to put the bad guys out of business, to fill in the boots to fight crime.
When the law is broken and flouted, and the authorities are left dumbfounded, the Super Hero can come to the rescue of the helpless. Whether it is putting criminals behind bars, or rescuing a beautiful woman from a building on fire, every city needs its savior. And, since this city has no guardian angel, it is left vulnerable. Now, with our own local flavour let’s get the DS Man or in local parlance Daura Suruwal Man. That may sound a bit familiar.
It seems DS Man will have his hands full since there has been a steady rise in suspicious activities in this metropolitan city, the real authorities are not very keen on the action part. Everyday we hear of people being trampled upon, and denied justice. We come across news in the newspapers about accidents and unnecessary deaths. All that could have been avoided had there been the DS Man around.
Yes, Kathmandu would definitely
be a better place to live in with
him around. So, to make our Hero cooler and more appealing, he would have to get hold of the sophisticated gadgets and super power that the
other mortals would envy. The DS Man would definitely have to wear a bullet proof Daura Suruwal and a Nepali topi loaded with the newest crime fighting gadgets. He should be able to run fast, be able to jump even across Mount Everest and be as strong as a T-REX dinosaur.
With these physical attributes and his topi, I doubt the bad guys would ever stand a chance going up against our very own Super Hero. The DS Man would also have to be good looking. I mean no Super Hero can be famous and be ugly, plus he needs to be more appealing to the fairer sex.
I just hope that he does not start wearing his red underwear on top
of his Suruwal like some guy in
blue tights does. Well, now that we have our champion, it is time for him to clean up the streets and deliver justice. If this man does his job right, Kathmandu city would have something to boast about.
