TOPICS: Nero and the flare
Millennium, two or less, that must be the time that the reference to the fiddle has been made somewhere in reference to Nero or someone like that. It was, of course, Rome that sparked the imagination. One
really doesn’t know whether the fiddling away on music while the
rage was on matches the level of a
sane mind. That may have been
the extremes that this rational man can go to. More close and recorded events and scenes are there for any interested character to make himself/herself knowledgeable of the ingenuity that characterizes a member of the homo sapiens.
Nothing could be further than all the philosophers, religious gurus and the like have vended to keep the society in its health. The way people talk of the divine gift of two ears for the one way traffic that is IN and OUT.
Look at the way the interested lap up the sermons delivered anywhere,
but lose them on the way back home. This could possibly be a natural defence from the mind getting too much information or knowledge crammed in that teeny head that could do the steaming up trick if fed too much, through the ears of course.
The hungry mouth needs food and not a discourse on tightening the belts. An hour or two of a normal day can be tolerated but not months and even years. But, that it can be done has been time and again been proved by our venerable politicos who have churned the art of turning their audience into tin soldiers for real. No saviours of the all hundred percent. Maybe the credit could be given worth a nickel and no further. Some diehard followers of one or the other so called political guru may consider this evaluation rather irrational, but turn it the other way round and the glaring reality emerges.
One only wishes for this politics to be out but, unfortunately, it’s politics right from the “on your mark” point in life. It’s an affair of scheming (that’s politics) all the way. Talk of the child and the parent, or that of the husband and wife, and it can go on like that till it encompasses all the hominids.
That makes the versed in the art politicians the centre of gravity of all the woes that the common man has to go through in daily life. It’s like someone had remarked “that necessary evil”. One is only fortunate enough in infancy as you won’t remember your experience later on when you grow up.
