74-year-old Lachhuman Thapa is churning buttermilk in a traditional wooden container (Theki) in a shed at Garpacheda Dahakharka within the Dhorpatan Hunting Reserve that spans the districts of Eastern Rukum, Baglung, and Myagdi, on Friday.
Farmers who bring their cattle to graze here produce dairy products like ghee and chhurpi (a type of hard cheese) from the milk.
