Aiselukharka, an important village and market area in Khotang District under Aiselukharka Rural Municipality, lies in the southeastern part of the district and serves as a local hub for trade and daily life.
The region, particularly around Halesi (Maratika), is known for its scenic landscapes and spiritual significance.
From Manjushree Cave, located at a higher elevation, visitors can view Halesi Bazaar along with surrounding hills and lush greenery in a single panoramic frame.
The area also reflects its religious and cultural heritage, where Buddhist monks are often seen in meditation in the tranquil hill surroundings, and prayer flags bearing sacred mantras are placed across the slopes, adding to the spiritual atmosphere of the region.
