KATHMANDU, APRIL 26

With the increasing number of Covid-19 infections, traffic police have started to strictly monitor whether or not people are following the health guidelines in public vehicles and on the roads. The traffic police personnel are seen checking vehicles to see if passengers are wearing masks and if vehicles are ferrying passengers over the seat limits.

Moreover, on Monday, police were seen holding people without masks in various locations of the valley.

Traffic police personnel are holding signs encouraging commuters to wear masks amid concerns over the spread of the second wave of coronavirus disease in Kathmandu.
