KATHMANDU, APRIL 7
An aerial view of the Swayambhunath Stupa, a World Heritage site enlisted by UNESCO, has been pictured on a smoggy day as the air quality continues to degrade, in Kathmandu, on Wednesday.
For the past few days, air pollution in the capital city has reached hazardous levels due to the accumulation of smog in the atmosphere.
Multiple forest fires in the neighbouring districts of the valley, dust particles, and smoke from burning garbage have been attributed as the causes of harmful air pollution in the capital.
