KATHMANDU, SEPTEMBER 18
The Government of the Republic of Korea has welcomed the appointment of Sushila Karki as the Prime Minister of Nepal's interim government.
In a statement issued by its Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday, Seoul expressed hope for the swift restoration of stability and prosperity in Nepal and acknowledged the country's ongoing efforts toward that goal.
South Korea also reaffirmed its commitment to working closely with the interim administration to further strengthen the longstanding bonds of friendship and cooperation between the two nations.
