TikTok has released its Q2 2025 Community Guidelines Enforcement Report, highlighting the platform's global and national efforts to maintain a safe and positive environment for users.
Between April and June 2025, TikTok removed 2,476,345 videos in Nepal for violating its community guidelines, with a proactive removal rate of 99.8%. Of these, 98.4% were taken down within 24 hours.
Globally, TikTok removed 189 million videos, representing about 0.7% of all uploads, with 99.1% detected proactively using AI systems. The platform also deleted 76.9 million fake accounts and 25.9 million underage accounts.
A significant share of removed content included mature or sensitive themes (30.6%), safety violations (14%), and misinformation (45%).
TikTok said its periodic transparency reports reflect its "commitment to accountability and user safety."
