KATHMANDU: St Xavier’s College and Xavier International College advanced to the final of the third St Xavier’s College Basketball Tournament here on Saturday.

The hosts defeated VS IST College 74-61 riding on 27 points from Samip Karki, while Binesh Neupane netted 15 points as Xavier International beat Apex College 42-26 in the boys’ section semi-final matches.

In girls’ section, Institute of Engineering set championship date with Xavier International. The finals are slated for Sunday.
