KATHMANDU: As many as 24 players have been selected to play two matches against Kenya under the ICC World Cricket League Championship to be held at the Tribhuvan University Stadium on March 11 and 13.

National cricket team captain Paras Khadka, Gyanendra Malla, Aarif Sheikh, Dipak Shrestha, Dipendra Singh Airee, Aasif Sheikh, Amit Shrestha, Dilip Nath, Susan Bhari, Mehaboob Alam, Karan KC and Sagar Pun were chosen to play the matches.

Similarly, other selected players include Sharad Vesawkar, Kushal Bhurtel, Basanta Regmi, Bikram Sob, Shakti Gauchan, Bhuwan Karki, Avinash Karna, Sompal Kami, Sunil Dhamala, Rajesh Pulami Magar, Binod Bhandari and Sandip Lamichhane.

Out of the selected players, 14 of them will again be chosen for the match, it has been said.

They will be undergo a training session on February 12.
