36 players summoned
Kathmandu, June 22 :
All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has called up 36 Under-23 players on Thursday to undergo selection for the 10 South Asian Games to be held in Colombo, Sri Lanak.
Nine players were called on from Nabil Three Star Club, eight each from Manang Marsyangdi and Armed Police Force Club, five from Mahendra Police Club, Three from Tribhuvan Army Club and one each from NRT, RCT and Friends.
Among the Three Star players are Lok Bandhu Gurung, Santosh Gurung, Pralay Rajbhandari, Vijay Gurung, Vishan Gauchan, Pradip Maharjan, Yugal Kishore Rai, Sandip Budathoki and Anjan KC. Jeevesh Pandey, Mani Pandit, Santosh Sahukhakla Ganesh Lawati, Mansajan Rajbhandari, Ratna Kaji Maharjan, Janak Singh and Samit Rajbhandari (GK) were picked up from APF.
Sangeet Rajak (GK), Sandip Rai, Pankaj Lama, Umesh Upretti, Nirajan Khadka, Prashant Giri, Anil Gurung and Raj Kumar Ghising are from MMC whereas Ritesh Thapa (GK), Suman Subedi, Arjun Rijal, Ju Manu Rai and Bhola Silwal are from MPC. Jeevan Sinkeman, Nur Raj Kafle and Rishi Rai are respectively from NRT, Friends and RCT. Shayam Thapa and Yogumber Suwal were given the coaching responsibility.
