DPL signs co-sponsorship agreement with Jagadamba
KATHMANDU: Ruslan Dhangadhi Premier League Twenty20 cricket tournament organisers Dhangadhi Cricket Academy on Tuesday has signed the co-sponsorship agreement with Jagadamba Enterprises Private Limited.
DCA President Subash Shahi and Jagadamba Enterprises Senior General Manager Jagat Raj Dhungana signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in a program organised in the Capital on Tuesday.
As per the MoU, Jagadamba Enterprises will provide the organisers with one million rupees as the co-sponsor of the tournament, while DCA will use the logo of Jag Shakti TMT Bar in the promotional activities of the competition. Jag Shakti was the co-sponsor in the last edition of the tournament as well.
The tournament, to take place from March 31 to April 14 at the SSP grounds in Dhangadhi, will feature a total of six teams — Mahendranagar United, Kathmandu Goldens, CYC Attariya, Team Chauraha Dhangadi, Rupandehi Challengers and Biratnagar Kings.
The champions of DPL will bag a purse of Rs 2.5 million and runners-up will earn Rs one million.
