ACC names team for charity match

Dhaka, January 3:
Asian cricket officials on Monday selected Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly to lead a 14-member team of top players from four South Asian test nations to meet a world side next week at a charity cricket match for Asian tsunami victims.
Dubbed “Cricket Aid,” all proceeds from the January 10 match — including ticket money, sponsorships and television rights — will be donated to World Vision to help thousands of tsunami survivors. Pakistan’s coach Bob Woolmer will direct the squad. The second leg of the charity match is likely to be held in March in either Sri Lanka or India.
Squad: Sourav Ganguly (c), Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Rahul Dravid, Anil Kumble, Zaheer Khan, Sanath Jayasuriya, Marvan Atapattu, Chaminda Vaas, Kumar Sangakara, Muttiah Muralitharan, Shoaib Akhtar, Yousuf Youhana and Alok Kapali.
