Afghanistan win toss, elects to bat against Zimbabwe

NAGPUR: Captain Asghar Stanikzai won the toss and elected to bat in Afghanistan's last first round Group B match against Zimbabwe at the World Twenty20 on Saturday.

Both teams have won their previous two group matches and Saturday's winner will progress to the Super 10 stage that starts next week.

Afghanistan has won all its previous four Twenty20s against Zimbabwe and made just one change to its playing XI, bringing in fast bowler Hamid Hasan in place of Amir Hamza.

Zimbabwe kept faith in the same playing XI which defeated Scotland and Hong Kong in its previous two group matches.
