ANFA rewards Solidarity Cup winning team

All Nepal Football Association felicitated the members of national football team that won the AFC Solidarity Cup in Malaysia last year.
ANFA President Narendra Shrestha handed over Rs 300,000 each to 23 players, three coaches, and one apiece manager and physio. Bishal Shrestha, Bikesh Kuthu, Kiran Kumar Limbu, Bharat Khawas, Sujal Shrestha, Biraj Maharjan, Bishal Rai, Ananta Tamang, Aditya Chaudhary, Devendra Tamang, Rajendra Rawal, Bimal Gharti Magar, Ranjit Dhimal, Heman Gurung, Anjan Bista, Nawayug Shrestha, Suman Lama, Rabin Shrestha, Ranjan Bista, Bikram Lama, Kamal Shrestha, Anil Gurung and Deepak Gurung were in the squad.
Similarly, head coach Gyotoku Koji, assistant coaches Raju Kaji Shakya and Ujjwal Manandhar, manager Birat Jung Shahi and physiotherapist Suraj Bhusal had also accompanied the players to Malaysia. Nepal won the Solidarity Cup with a 1-0 victory over Macau at Sarawak Stadium in Kuching, to bag the maiden trophy in the AFC-organised tournament. Sujal Shrestha was the hero of the match scoring the solitary goal.
Meanwhile, ANFA also honoured 28 members of Nepali football team that finished runners-up in the SAFF U-15 Championship held at the ANFA Complex grounds last month.
