ANFA all set for Club Licensing

The All Nepal Football Association is set to implement Club Licensing from this year with a target of developing professionalism in the sport.
ANFA Chief Executive Officer Indra Man Tuladhar said that Club Licensing will be implemented from this year’s A Division League which is scheduled for May. “We are working on the Club Licensing and it will be implemented after completing the procedures set by the Asian Football Confederation,” said Tuladhar. “This will help towards the professionalism of ANFA, clubs and players as they all have to follow the certain rules and regulations,” he added.
Meanwhile, Asian Football Confederation Head of Club Licensing Mahajan Vasudevan Nair, ANFA President Narendra Shrestha and other officials held an interaction with A division club representatives at the ANFA Complex on Friday. Out of the 12 ‘A’ division clubs, Jawalakhel Youth Club did not attend the interaction. The AFC officials are here to guide the clubs and FA for the AFC Club Licensing and will help them during the implementation phase, ANFA said in a release. “Nair also explained the roles and responsibilities to the members of First Instance Body and Appeals Body.”
