Kathmandu, December 16:

All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) and Nepal Football Association today formed two committees — ANFA Statute Drafting Committee and League Organising and Football Management Committee — as per their agreement reached on December 7.

The committees were formed in accordance with the agreement reached between the two FAs after the talks mediated by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the National Sports Council. The NFA president Bijay Narayan Manandhar is the convenor of the nine-member Statute Drafting Committee while ANFA president Ganesh Thapa heads the 17-member League Organising and Football Management Committee.

Govardhan Singh ‘Samjhana’ has been named as the draft committee joint-convenor with Diwakar Ghale, Ganesh Bhattarai, Krishna Bhakta Manandhar, Pankaj Bikram Nemwang, Rajendra Neupane, Rabindra Joshi and Sunil SJB Rana as its members. According to the agreement, the committee will have to submit the final draft of the ANFA within the next 45 days.

Likewise, NFA general secretary Indra Man Tuladhar is the joint-convenor of the League Organising and Football Management Committee. Arjun Lama, Basanta Aryal, Chandra Kumar Maharjan, Chhiring Lopsang, Ganesh Chand, Kumar Jung Thapa, Karma Chhiring Sherpa, Kishor Rai, Khadga Prasad Thapa, Lalit Krishna Shrestha, Mani Kunwar, Narendra Shrestha, Sunil Kapali, Sagar Kapali and Sanjeev Shahi are the members of the committee.
