KATHMANDU: Angels’ Heart College defeated DAV College by 60 runs in the final of the second Wai Wai Inter-college Cricket Tournament here on Tuesday. Batting first, Angels’ Heart scored 162 runs and packed DAV for 102.

Sumit Maharjan top scored for Angels’ Heart with 56 runs, while Bipin Acharya of DAV took four wickets. Janma Jay scored 31 runs for DAV, while Sanjay Basnet took four wickets for Angels’ Heart. Basnet, who was named the man-of-the-match, won the player of the series and best bowler’s awards, while his teammate Adil Khan was declared the best batsman. Angels’ Heart received Rs 75,000 and DAV got Rs 35,000.
