Pokhara, August 11:

Anil Gurung scored a hat-trick as Pokhara Sub-metropolitan City outplayed Ramgram Municipality of Nawalparasi 4-1 and entered the quarter-finals of the Inter-Municipality Cup Football Tournament here today.

Gurung put the home team ahead early in the seventh minute and scored goals in the 22nd and 78th minute to complete his hat-trick after Basanta Gauchan had doubled the lead in the 14th minute. Resham Rana scored the consolation goal for Ramgram.

On Sunday, Dhulikhel will take on Tansen and Bidur face Waling Municipality.
